You know when you’re delaying something important. You recognize when you’re reacting instead of responding. You can even predict what you’re about to do—and still do it anyway.

That’s the part that doesn’t make sense at first.

Because if awareness is there, why doesn’t behavior change?

The answer is uncomfortable but precise: awareness happens too far from the moment where behavior is actually decided.

You’re seeing the pattern.

But you’re not interrupting it.

And those are two completely different things.
